Department of English

Alhamdulillah, Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama has included English language and literature in its curriculum since its establishment, for this reason, Nadwi scholars is performing the duty of the country and the nation in every corner of the world. The outstanding quality of the time is to understand the requirements of the time and present their solutions in a timely manner. In view of this purpose, according to Hadhrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Rabey Hasani Nadwi (Rector Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow), the Department of English has been established in the premises of Darul Uloom. This department was officially inaugurated by Hadhrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Rabey Hasani Nadwi on 3 September 2018. The president of this department is Mr. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Siddiqui (son of late Prof. Wasi Ahmad Siddiqui).

"One Year English Diploma" is also being conducted by the Department of English. In this one-year course, the admission of Nadwi graduate students is done after a written test and interview.

The purpose of this one-year English Diploma is to develop English writing and speaking skills in the graduates.
